Kent’s Uncommon Thoughts
Patriotic Correctness is a term I rarely see in print. It has nothing to do with waving the flag, pledging allegiance, or voting a certain way. It has to do with Freedom of Speech, which I capitalize because it is a sacred right in our Bill of Rights. It is my intention to avoid political correctness. As a student of proper American English and grammar, I intend to wax politically incorrect. I don’t write politics or religion. I write facts and truth as I see it. Sadly, our nation has been so divided over the past two for three decades that simple debate, discussion, and sharing of ideas is now considered war. I intend to confront that attitude without fear. I welcome feedback.
My intention is to each week post a variety of topics, some related to my novels currently in publication and other works now in the pipeline. I will also address social issues and their underlying causes that become the source of many works of fiction. We all have stories that come from a life lived fully. Life, love, and loss are normal parts of our existence. Laughter and learning are the bonuses we receive from these experiences. Let the discussions begin.
